Here are five beginner patterns, great for learning how to quilt. The patterns are free to copy and use for any purpose. They are especially useful to make up kits with the strips pre-cut, for beginners at quilt group. Just put the strips and a large piece for backing, along with a printout of the instructions in a large ziplock bag, and have a selection of kits handy at quilt group. Encourage beginners to try one. Experienced quilters will want to sew one or two for fun. When a top is finished, provide the batting.
Snail Trail 42” x 51” This quilt needs a total of fifteen 3 ½” strips cut the width of the fabric. It can be in as many colors as you wish. It is a great way to use up odd strips.
Rail Fence 42″ x 42″. Four colors.
Offset Frame 42″ x 42″. The center squares are a good place to use large scale novelty prints.
Four Patch 42″ x 42″. Four colors. (click image for download)

Hi karin, we have a great stores here in the USA and they ship world wide. I am certain that if you buy in bulk they would give you good deals. The one I would recommend is Missouri Star Quilting Co. Good luck!
