Ikea has a fabric center on the ground floor. You purchase Ikea fabric, and they custom make curtains – plain, with pleats, grommets, or tab top. They can make cushion covers up to 50 X 50 cm, seat cushions up to 60 X 60 cm with 15 cm thickness, bed runners, removable dining chair covers, removeable armchair covers, and 2-seat removable sofa covers. They recommend having curtains made at twice the width of your window, for example 2 m wide curtain to cover 1 m of the width of your window. The fabric is 150 cm wide. The way to get to Sampeng Lane by public transport is to take the MRT Metropolitan Rapid Transit
(subway) to the Hua Lampong Station. Walk out exit 4. Straight ahead you will see bus 40 waiting there usually. It takes you to Sampeng for only 8 baht. Have fun seeing the sights and sounds of Chinatown!
